Twinned 35mm slide photographs made inside and outside a rented house in Massachusetts. During this year I was strung out between a teaching position and extra night work at digitization studio. This studio specialized in the handling of vernacular “family” photographs produced primarily during the 20th century. Through that work, I became enamored with the possibility of the slide photograph (the total apparatus) for story telling. My attempts at narrative however, fall short of any clear direction. The resultant photographs are small snatchings from a place still structured by the pastoral.
